Norm has directed King-Casey’s research activities for over 30 years. He has helped clients better understand consumer behaviors through analyses of responses to brand positioning, branding, store design, and visual merchandising. Consumer insights (using various disciplines) are routinely utilized to assist in the development and assessment of optimized menuboard strategies and executions.
Norm’s experience with restaurants and foodservice clients, in particular, includes multiple assignments for McDonald's, Subway, Burger King, Wendy’s, Del Taco, Hardee’s, Denny’s, White Castle, Olive Garden, Long John Silver's, Blimpie, and many others.
Previously, Norm was an Associate Research Director and, later, Manager of Marketing Information Services at BBDO Advertising. He is a contributing author to the Handbook of Package Design Research, as well as writing many articles that have appeared in Journal of Advertising Research, Marketing News, Quirk's and other scholarly journals.
