The Situation

The Sizzler brand lost its clarity as it evolved from its core steak house positioning to an “All You Can Eat” buffet strategy. In addition, research discovered that the Sizzler logotype and brand identity communicated negatives and was contributing to reduced customer visits.

The Solution

King-Casey created a bold new Sizzler logotype and brand identity, the goal of which was to communicate the brand’s core steak heritage, enhance the brand’s image and encourage trial.

The Results

The Sizzler re-imaging and revitalized brand identity was an immediate success. Traffic counts in re-imaged restaurants increased dramatically. Additionally, the re-imaging has attracted new and younger customers to Sizzler’s restaurants.
